Frequently asked questions — Pressed bronzer

What is pressed bronzer?

It is compacted powder that you pick up directly from the pan with a brush. Laguna and Jetsetter are bronzers; this collection also contains glow and contour powders.

How do Laguna and Jetsetter differ?

Laguna is warm and semi-matte for fair to medium skin. Jetsetter is neutral with subtle shimmer, as a starting point for light-medium to tanned skin.

What do Golden Hour and Barbados Bronze do?

These Glow Up Powders can be used as bronzer, blush or highlighter. Golden Hour adds golden shimmer; Barbados Bronze adds warm coral colour with shimmer. Start with a little for a precise accent.

Which sizes do Laguna and Jetsetter have?

Both come as approx. 7 g full size, 4 g refill and 0.6 g tester. Glow Up Powders have approx. 9 g full sizes. The contour powder is available as approx. 4 g refill and 0.6 g tester.

Should I choose loose or pressed bronzer?

Dispense loose bronzer into the lid first. Pick up pressed bronzer directly from the pan. Both are powders: choose the format you prefer, then compare shade and finish.

How do I apply bronzer evenly?

Pick up little powder and tap off the excess. Apply lightly and blend the edges. Let liquid foundation settle first: a wet or tacky base can hold extra pigment.

Can I try a bronzer tester first?

Yes. Loose bronzers have approx. 0.35 g testers. Jetsetter, Laguna and Glow Up Powders have approx. 0.6 g testers. Choose the size on the product page; prices vary.

Does a pressed refill fit the full-size compact?

The approx. 4 g refills for Jetsetter and Laguna do not fit their current approx. 7 g mirror compacts. Keep the refill in a suitable magnetic palette. Check sizes for your chosen product.

Which brush should I use for bronzer?

A soft powder brush helps distribute bronzer lightly. An angled bronzer/contour brush gives more control over precise placement. Pick up little powder and build gradually.

Can I use bronzer on sensitive skin?

Check the ingredients of your chosen shade, especially with a known sensitivity. A mineral formula does not guarantee that your skin will not react. Try a small amount first if needed.
