How to choose and apply mineral powder concealer

Start with what you want to conceal

For blemishes and uneven coverage, choose a skin-toned shade close to your skin or foundation. For visible redness or bluish shadows, try targeted colour correction first. A lighter concealer is not automatically the best choice.

A small amount, precisely where you need it

Tap a little powder into the lid, pick it up with a concealer brush and tap off the excess. Dab onto the area you want to conceal and blend the edges. Check the result before adding more.

Combine with your foundation

Apply Foliage, Papaya or Rose thinly before matching foundation or skin-toned concealer. Use Skin Fix and Amber under or over mineral powder foundation. Keep the amount small, especially under the eyes.

Check your shade in daylight

Compare the shade with your skin in daylight. For products with a sample variant, you can choose it to try the shade and texture first. Each product page shows available sizes and the full ingredient list.

Frequently asked questions

A concealer in loose mineral powder form for targeted coverage. This collection includes skin-toned Skin Fix shades, the colour correctors Foliage, Papaya and Rose, and warm-toned Amber. Dab them on with a brush.

Skin Fix gives skin-toned coverage. A colour corrector visually balances specific discolouration: Foliage for redness, Papaya for bluish shadows and Rose for subtle brightening. You can combine a corrector with Skin Fix, but you do not always need both.

Foliage has a green shade that visually neutralises visible redness. Dab a thin layer only onto red areas, then follow with matching foundation or skin-toned concealer.

Papaya's warm peach shade is intended for bluish shadows, particularly on light to medium skin tones. Use a little powder and add matching skin-toned coverage if needed. Assess the colour of your circles in daylight.

Rose has a cool pink shade that subtly brightens shadowed areas. Papaya has a warm peach shade for bluish discolouration. Rose has a matte finish; it is not a shimmery highlighter.

Amber has a warm shade for medium to dark skin tones. Compare it with your skin and foundation. Skin Fix Tan is the skin-toned Tan shade in the Skin Fix range; find your best match on your own skin.

To conceal blemishes, choose a shade close to your skin or foundation. A slightly lighter shade can brighten under the eyes, but one that is too light can stand out. Choose colour correctors according to the discolouration you want to correct.

Usually, apply colour correctors precisely first, then follow with coverage in your skin tone. Skin Fix and Amber work under or over mineral powder foundation: underneath for a subtle effect, or afterwards for extra targeted coverage.

Use a small amount, tap the excess off your brush and dab only onto the darker areas. Blend the edges and build in thin layers. More powder does not always look better; check the coverage before reapplying.

This collection contains loose powder concealers applied with a brush. Cover Up is a liquid concealer you can dab on with a brush, sponge or fingertip. Choose the texture you enjoy and compare the shade and application too.
